The purpose of the Community Services Block Grant Program is to alleviate the causes and conditions of
poverty. Federal funds nearing $2 million annually are provided to the state’s only federally designated
Community Action Agency, RurAL CAP.

RurAL CAP also helps ensure residents in economically suppressed rural areas have access to the following educational and capacity building opportunities.
