Don Habeger

Don Habeger was appointed Director of the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing in July of 2010.

Director Habeger has a broad background which includes experience in working for the Alaska State Legislature, being responsible for communications, promoting and advancing assigned bills, issue research, and scheduling. Don has extensive experience in government and community relations, having served as Director and Regional Vice President of Government Relations for a major cruise line. He has also worked as a port manager for a stevedoring corporation, in residential construction and was a teacher.

Mr. Habeger holds a bachelor degree in Behavioral Science from North Central University in Minnesota and completed studies in the University of Alaska Southeast's Masters of Public Administration program. He has been an Alaskan resident since 1979.
