The booklet The Landlord and Tenant Act: What it Means to You is a publication created to assist both landlords and tenants in answering basic questions about the Landlord Tenant Law in Alaska. The publication is made available by the Alaska Department of Law, Consumer Protection Unit.

Commission staff cannot offer any legal advice regarding landlord tenant questions. You may contact the Alaska Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Line at (907) 272-0352 or (800) 770-9999 to obtain names and numbers of attorneys who deal specifically in landlord tenant issues.

Copies of the Landlord and Tenant Act: What It Means to You booklet will no longer be available for purchase at the Alaska Real Estate Commission office. You may review or print a current copy of the Alaska Landlord Tenant Handbook by clicking on the link below.
