Examination Information

Examination Information:

Effective December 7, 2020 the Practical Examination component for licensure was removed and replaced with a Proficiency Examination. Proficiency examinations must be administered by the school or Instructor (apprenticeship) at the conclusion of training in accordance with 12 AAC 09.050. Proof of passing a proficiency examination must be documented on Completion of Training forms.

Students/apprentices who completed training prior to December 2020 still must provide proof of passing a Proficiency Examination by requesting their school/Instructor complete and submit an updated Completion of Training form.

Passing a written examination is still required to complete the licensure process.
