GrantS and Funding The Grants and Funding Section provides oversight and implementation of federal and state funded financial assistance programs and grants. This section monitors and ensures statutory and regulatory compliance of recipient entities; including municipalities, tribes, non-profit community associations, state agencies and other entities. Funding Assistance Programs Available The Community Aid and Assistance Section provides communities with state and federal financial aid for the delivery of local public services while ensuring the communities meet all state and federal eligibility standards. Our goal is to provide advice,technical assistance, training and other resources to assist communities with local financial and government administration issues. Services are provided to municipalities, tribal governments, nonprofit organizations, state agencies, and other entities. Grants staff are located in DCRA offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau. Serve Alaska Serve Alaska, in partnership with the Corporation for National and Community Service, brings AmeriCorps programs to Alaska. The Serve Alaska sub-grantees operate in almost every region of the state, bringing much needed support and training to rural and urban Alaska.
