1033 Felony Consent

Federal law prohibits anyone convicted of a felony crime involving untrustworthiness from being involved in insurance activities unless the individual receives written consent to participate in the business of insurance from the Director of Insurance.

This applies to all persons, including those that must have a license for their insurance activities such as producers/agents/brokers and those who are employed in the business of insurance at an insurance company or office.
