Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office

The Alcohol and Marijuana Control office (AMCO) cannot provide legal advice to applicants or licensees, nor can we advise whether you should continue your application or alter your business practices. The Department of Law is still working to evaluate what the impact of rescinding the Cole memorandum will be for Alaska. AMCO will continue to implement state law in close conjunction with the Department of Law, and as new information is available, will make every effort to inform licensees and the public.

Renewals for alcohol licenses expiring in 2017 were mailed out 10/31/2017. Once you receive your renewal forms, please ensure you pay close attention to the included instructions. Renewals received (or postmarked, if mailed to the AMCO office ) after January 2 2018, considered late. These applications will be subject to a n additional late fee of $500.00. Please include this payment on any checks or money orders made to our office. If paying by Credit Card, the late fee will be automatically applied.

If you have submitted your Alcohol Renewal Application and are waiting for your Temporary Licenses, but have not received it yet, your 2016-2017 Alcohol Licenses remains valid through February 28, 2018
