Grants and Funding

The Grants and Funding Section provides oversight and implementation of federal and state funded financial assistance programs and grants. This section monitors and ensures statutory and regulatory compliance of recipient entities; including municipalities, tribes, non-profit community associations, state agencies and other entities. Technical assistance is provided in the areas of recordkeeping, grant reporting, and other topics of grant management. Grants staff are located in DCRA offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau.

eGrants Online Database

The eGrants database is used to track and manage grants and was implemented to meet the needs of communities while providing information to state agencies, policy makers, and the general public.

Serve Alaska

Serve Alaska, in partnership with the Corporation for National and Community Service, brings AmeriCorps programs to Alaska. The Serve Alaska sub-grantees operate in almost every region of the state, bringing much needed support and training to rural and urban Alaska.
