Board of Chiropractic Examiners Public Notice Notice of Proposed Regulations The Division proposes to update regulations relating to general occupational licensing functions or centralized licensing regulations including repealing or removing outdated regulations and citations, payment plan agreement for initial license fees, temporary license application requirements for military families, continuing education verification requirements, staleness date period for documents, adding application and temporary license fees, etc. Proposed Regulation Changes Proposed Regulations Proposed Regulations FAQ Written comments deadline: 4:30 p.m. on February 4, 2021 Renewal Notice: Due to the COVID-19 emergency and in line with SB241, the Alaska Board of Chiropractic Examiners have modified the continuing education requirements for the December 31, 2020, renewal. The required 32 credit hours, for chiropractors that have been licensed for more than two years, is reduced to 16 and all of them can now be done online, except for specific hands-on competency, such as dry needling. For all licensees, specific credit requirements, such as X-ray, ethics/boundaries, coding/documentation, etc., are now reduced to half.
