Here’s how to determine which application you need to submit: If you have not received board approval to take the exam for licensure or have not completed the required supervised experience, you should apply as an associate. If you have completed the supervised experience required for licensure and have passed the required exams, please apply by examination. If you hold a license from another state that is substantially equal to or greater than the requirements of this state, you should apply by credentials.
