RENEW an Alaska Business License Online

Before you begin:

To avoid errors and ensure compliance with Alaska Business Licensing Statutes (law) and Regulations you are strongly encouraged to review the following information and prepare your answers before proceeding to RENEW your business license.

1. Do you have multiple business licenses in the exact same name with the exact same owner? 2. What if I want to change my business name? 3. What business activities are you engaged in? 4. What if the Owner(s) of my business license have changed? 5. What if the current Owner is the same; however, the owner had a legal name change? 6. Will you be selling tobacco products, electronic smoking products, or products containing nicotine? 7. Can I make a change to an existing Endorsement on my business license? 8. What will be your business licensing RENEWAL fee? 9. Has your business license already lapsed (expired)? 10. Who cannot RENEW a business license online?

What can you expect after you have successfully filed online:

You will be able to print your Business License certificate immediately.

Print the confirmation page at the end of the process for your records; it contains important information regarding your Business License purchase.

Per 12 AAC 02.010, 12 AAC 02.015, and 12 AAC 12.010(e) business license fees are non-refundable once the business license has been issued.
