The Board of Professional Counselors has released the following position statements:

Notice to Professional Counselor Applicants

Only hours supervised by a Board approved supervisor will be accepted.

As of March 14, 2016 all board approved supervisors have been issued a “license” number for their certification by the board to provide supervision. A list will no longer be provided on this website.

Approved Supervisors: Please contact the Division if you have any questions about your certification; you can reach the licensing examiner: ProfessionalCounselors@Alaska.Gov

Please note that if your professional license lapses or expires, supervised hours will not be accepted for the dates you do not hold an active license.
