Interested persons who want to attend a meeting by teleconference must contact the Marine Pilot Coordinator, by the Friday prior to the meeting, to secure a call in number and line. In accordance with 12 AAC 56.025(a), applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the examination date. Contact the Marine Pilot Coordinator for more information. Core Examination: Offered in Juneau or Anchorage on an ongoing basis. In accordance with 12 AAC 56.025(c)(1), applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the examination date. Applicants for the Local Knowledge Exam must meet the requirements listed under 12 AAC 56.025(a) prior to the application deadline in order to be scheduled for an exam.
