Board Member Information

The Board of Public Accountancy consists of seven members appointed by the Governor. Each member shall be a resident of this state for at least one year. Five members shall be certified public accountants or public accountants and two members shall be public members. Members are appointed for staggered terms of four years. Members serve until they are replaced or resign.

Board Meeting Dates

The Alaska Board of Public Accountancy meets at least four times per year generally in January, April, August and November. Other meetings may be held as necessary. The meetings are open to the public and attendance from members of the public is welcome. In addition, a scheduled public comment period is provided at each meeting. Meeting agendas will be posted on this web page approximately two weeks before the meeting date, or you may obtain a meeting agenda by contacting the board’s executive administrator.
