Due to multiple staff vacancies during a time of increased workload, we are currently unable to return calls and emails within our normal processing times. Our primary focus is on reviewing and issuing licenses.

If you have applied for licensure, please check the MY LICENSE online portal for real-time updates on the progress of your application. At current staffing levels, you can expect an update regarding the status of the initial application within 9-11 weeks. If you are then asked to provide additional documentation, it may take an additional 9-11 weeks to review.

For urgent situations that would result in a facility shutdown if licensing is delayed, employers can submit an Expedited Review Form (PDF). Employers should check with the applicants they intend to hire to ensure all required documentation has been submitted correctly and timely.

Answers to most other questions can be located using the links on the right-hand side of the page. Our goal is to respond to your inquiry within seven business days.

Hard Copy License Certificates Discontinued

The division has expanded our online services to allow licensees to download their own license certificates on demand. As a result, the division no longer mails hardcopy license certificates. The certificates will be located under the “initial application” and “renewal” events in the MY LICENSE account.
